On October 4th, I had the honor of being one of the jury members at the NASA Space Apps Hackathon hosted at Sanly Bilim Education Center in Ashgabat. 🌍✨
We had 13 amazing teams competing — and wow, these young innovators absolutely blew me away! 🤯 From apps predicting shark dangers in ocean areas 🦈, to asteroid protection systems ☄️, climate-saving platforms 🌱, and even tools for preserving our planet’s icebergs ❄️ — every project showed real creativity and purpose.
What impressed me the most was how well these students could code 💻. Some of the projects had fully functional mobile and web apps — built by teenagers! Their understanding of programming, logic, and implementation was seriously next level. 🔥
As a jury member, I focused on their code quality and technical understanding, and honestly, I was positively surprised at their skill and passion. 💪
